Website design, process and structure

Some thoughts on http://climatecamp.org.uk

Back ground reading http://www.useit.com/alertbox/reading_pattern.html

The website design is very static, with the social media after the fold were the majority (probably 90% ) of visitors will not generally see it. A few points:

* People don’t seam to be empowered to update the social media part of the site as the blog is generally out of date.

* The “CC online” part is opaque on how to use it and possibly very out of date – the current feed is to https://notts.indymedia.org.uk/search/by_tag/climatecamp ?

* The twitter account is updated by one person generally.

While putting energy in to content IS A GOOD THING, process and structure is also necessary to sustain this energy.
